Your agreement with us
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and TKDRingside LLC (“TKDRingside,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply when you visit tkdringside.com or use TKD Companion, Rep Forge, or any related service we provide together with them (the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you use the Services for a school, club, team, family, or another organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that group.
What we provide
TKD Companion helps users record tournament rings, scores, placements, videos, season points, and related athlete information. Rep Forge helps users record practices, skills, drills, repetitions, and progress. Features may differ by device, platform, plan, or location.
The Services are organizational tools. They do not replace tournament officials, official records, qualified instructors, or your own judgment.
Accounts and privacy
Please provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in details, and tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
TKD Companion and Rep Forge are separate apps and may use separate accounts and purchases. How TKD Companion stores and uses personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Athletes and minors
If you add information, photographs, or videos about another person—especially a child—you confirm that you are that person, their parent or guardian, or otherwise have permission to do so. A parent or guardian should supervise a minor’s use of the Services.
Please add only the information needed to use the Services and follow the rules of the school, venue, tournament, or organization involved.
Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of the names, scores, notes, photographs, videos, and other material you add to the Services (“Your Content”). You give us permission to store, process, display, and transmit Your Content only as needed to operate, protect, and improve the Services and to carry out actions you choose, such as sharing a ring.
You confirm that you have the right to add Your Content and that doing so does not violate another person’s privacy, intellectual-property rights, or other legal rights.
Scores, standings, and videos
Information in the Services may be entered by users, imported, calculated, or received from outside sources. It may contain mistakes, arrive late, or differ from an official result. Always verify rules, schedules, scores, placements, rankings, and season points with the tournament organizer or official governing body before relying on them.
Unless we clearly say otherwise, TKDRingside does not issue official tournament results and is not acting as a tournament official. Video and recording tools are provided for convenience; recording quality and availability are not guaranteed, and you must follow venue rules and obtain any required permission before recording.
Subscriptions and payments
Some features are free and others require a paid plan. The price, billing period, included features, and any automatic renewal will be shown before you purchase. Taxes may be added where required.
Payments are handled by the app store or payment provider shown at checkout. Manage or cancel a subscription through the same provider or through the account controls we make available. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not normally refund time already purchased. Refunds, when available, follow applicable law and the rules of the provider that processed the payment.
We may change plan features or future prices. When required, we will give notice before a price change applies to a renewing subscription.
Use the Services responsibly
Please do not use the Services to:
- break the law, tournament rules, or another person’s rights;
- harass, threaten, impersonate, or mislead anyone;
- upload harmful code or interfere with the security or operation of the Services;
- access another person’s account or information without permission;
- scrape, copy, resell, or reverse engineer the Services except where the law expressly allows it; or
- use automated systems in a way that places an unreasonable load on the Services.
Our work and outside providers
We and our licensors own the Services, including the software, design, text, graphics, branding, and features, except for Your Content. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services while you follow these terms.
The Services rely on app stores, hosting, payment, analytics, media-processing, and other outside providers. Their services may be governed by their own terms and may sometimes be unavailable. Links to outside websites do not mean we control or endorse everything on them.
Availability and safe use
We work to keep the Services reliable, but we cannot promise that every feature will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device. We may maintain, update, add, remove, or discontinue features. Keep a separate copy of information you cannot afford to lose.
Rep Forge and any training-related content are tracking tools, not medical advice or a substitute for qualified instruction. Train within your abilities, follow your instructor’s guidance, and stop if an activity causes pain or feels unsafe.
Legal limits
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not make promises beyond those stated in these terms, including promises that the Services will be uninterrupted or that every score, calculation, result, or recommendation will be accurate.
To the fullest extent the law allows, TKDRingside and the people who work with us will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, revenue, opportunities, or goodwill arising from the Services. Our total responsibility for claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us for the affected Service during the 12 months before the claim.
Some places do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits. In those places, these limits apply only as far as the law permits. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be waived, including applicable consumer rights.
Ending use and changes
You may stop using the Services at any time and may delete your account through the controls we provide. Account deletion and remaining shared copies are described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or end access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the Services, comply with law, address a security risk, or respond to a serious or repeated violation of these terms. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
We may update these terms as the Services change. If an update materially affects your rights, we will update the date above and provide reasonable notice. Your continued use after the updated terms take effect means you accept them. If you do not agree, you should stop using the Services.
If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest will continue to apply. These terms, the Privacy Policy, and any purchase terms shown at checkout form the agreement between you and us for the Services.
